How To Search
Step 1: The Search
To run a search, you may specify up to four features you want in a provider.
- County: Select the county in which you want to find a provider. This is required. Don't worry, if there is no provider in the county you select, you will be able to look in nearby counties.
- Hours Open: You may want to find only those providers that are open at night, or on weekends. You may select as many as you like. If you select none, it will look for all providers regardless of when it is open.
- Insurance: You may want to restrict the search to only those providers that accept your insurance coverage. You may select as many as you like. If you select none, it will look for all providers regardless of which insurance it accepts.
- Service: You may want to find only those providers that offer the healthcare service you want (such as dental). You may only select one. If you select none, it will look for all providers regardless of what services it offers.
- Comprehensive primary care
- Limited primary care
- Specialty care
- Dental care
- Behavioral health
- Pharmacy
- Enabling/other
When you are satisfied with your search characteristics, click the <Submit Search> button at the bottom of the page.
Step 2: Review Delivery Sites Meeting Your Specifications
After the database is searched for a provider meeting your needs, the results are listed on a new page. This page lists the name, location (including a map), phone, and hours of operation for each provider that is found.
If no provider is found, you may rerun the search looking within either 25 or 50 miles of the county you requested by clicking those buttons at the top of the page.
For more information on a provider, click its name to visit the detail page.
Step 3: The Details
The detail page lists more complete information on the provider and its services, including its hours of operation and particular treatments within the broader category. For example, a dentist who offers limited services to children will be listed on this site as offering "dental services" but cannot treat an adult in need of emergency care.
